Use Color Halftone for a black-and-white halftone effect
- Here I'm going to show you how we can create this interesting Halftone effect. And actually, even though this is a black and white Halftone, I will be using the color Halftone filter. And I'll also receiving some help along the way from the Plastic Wrap filter and a Black and White Adjustment applied as a Smart Filter. Let's switch to the starting file. I'll convert the layer to a Smart object. Next, I'll convert this to a black and white image. Now, there are numerous ways I can do this. Since this is a course about filters, I am going to apply an adjustment, but I'm going to apply it as a Smart Filter. And in this case, I'm going to use a High Contrast Red Filter as the default. Now, I'll come to the Filter menu, and let me just show you what the Halftone pattern filter looks like. This is part of the Sketch group.
