In this video, see how to add neon lighting to a scene with a combination of the Neon filter, Plastic Wrap filter, and the Pen tool in Adobe Photoshop.
- [Man] In this movie,…I'm going to use a combination of neon glow…and plastic wrap to turn on the neon on this sign.…Here is where we begin.…The most time consuming part of this…is to create a pen path…around the neon tubing.…I've already done this and I've saved it…as a path, so we need to come to the paths panel…and activate it.…But before I do that,…we need to create a new layer above the background layer.…
So I'll come and create a new layer.…And it's on this layer that I'm going to…stroke that pen path.…So I've now come on to my pens panel,…activate the path.…I'll come and choose an appropriate color.…And I'm using a bright red.…I'll come and choose my brush tool…and an appropriate size.…I'm using 12 pixels and hardness.…Which in my case is zero…because I want a nice soft brush.…
So now I will right click on path one…and choose Stroke Path.…In this case simulate pressure isn't…going to make any difference.…But I'm going to make sure that the tool…is set to brush,…click okay.…Or click beneath the path to deactivate path.…
