Join Deke McClelland for an in-depth discussion in this video Trading a cloud-link with a different application, part of Photoshop CC 2015 New Features.
- In this movie, I'll show you how to use…the Libraries panel to trade a Cloud-based asset…between one Creative Cloud application and another.…Specifically, I'll take a piece of art work…in Illustrator here and place it into Photoshop…and I'll do so entirely dynamically,…using nothing more than the Libraries panel.…So, as I say, I'm working in Adobe Illustrator…and I'll go up to the Window Menu…and choose the Libraries command…to gain access to that same Libraries panel…that we saw in Photoshop.…
Now, you wanna click on the pop-up menu…at the top of the panel…and choose that same library…that you created in Photoshop,…in my case, Space logo,…in order to see that graphic that we created…and modified in the previous movie.…Now, I'll click the black arrow tool,…the so-called selection tool.…Go ahead and marquee all the path outlines…that make it the silhouette of the rocket ship,…cut out of the planet, Saturn.…And then, go ahead and drag and drop those objects…into the libraries panel in order to save off…a new Cloud-based file.…
To start, Deke covers the June 2015 release of Photoshop CC. Tune in and learn how to apply multiply strokes, drop shadows, and other effects to a single layer; work with the new Glyphs panel; trade dynamically linked assets via the Library panel; create multiple artboards in a single document; and preview your designs directly on a mobile device.
