- [Narrator] You can change the entire mood of a photograph…just by adding a little change in color.…Now in the past you might typically do this…by adding a filter on the camera,…and actually change the way that you record…the image when you make it.…But of course you can also add…these creative types of changes in Photoshop,…using hue and saturation, or the photo filter.…We'll start by adding a hue saturation adjustment layer.…The left photo layer is targeted in the layers panel.…I'll click on the new adjustment layer icon,…and choose hue and saturation.…
In order to colorize this image…and make it look like it is on faded paper,…I'll click colorize, and then,…using the hue slider, move it over towards yellow.…So this is a good way to get a tinted image,…but it's not quite the look I'm after.…I actually wanna make this look…more like an old-fashioned image,…like it's been printed,…and the paper has yellowed over the years.…So I'll click the right-hand photo layer,…in the layers panel,…but before I add the photo filter,…
