- [Chris] Hello, my name is Chris Orwig, and welcome to another episode of Photo Tools Weekly. In this one, we are in Photoshop, and here, we're going to begin a two-part project. We'll do part of it this week and another part next week. We're going to start off with this image. This is our before, and then the after or our goal is to accomplish this image here. Now, we'll do that in two different steps or stages, and in this first movie, it all begins with making a selection of our subject and then changing the scale or the size of the subject, because I want her to take up more of the frame. Well, to do that, we'll start off by using our quick select tool. We'll choose select subject, which will give us a rough selection of the subject. In this image, the way that I captured it is I basically exposed for the background so that the subject went into a silhouette.
