Styling clothing in a fan pattern for a photo

What I'd like to share with you now are techniques to use in styling garments for a fan. Typically, like the stack that we've demonstrated, a fan is used to tell a color story. Garments of the exact same style and cut that are available in different colors will often be displayed together in a fan or a stack. We are starting off here. We've got a nice cap sleeve silk t-shirt with a scoop neck. And the first thing you want to do is steam it. We've talking about steaming or ironing, you want to get rid of wrinkles first. I've already steamed it, but for those of you who've never used one, this is a typical garment steamer. Turn it on, once it preheats, the steam comes out these holes here, and the technique I like to use is to lift up one layer of the fabric, and bring the steamer inside it, and just bring it underneath the fabric like that. The advantage of this is, if you get any water drips, they drip onto the handle here rather than on the garment leaving a water spot on the garment…
