Stamp the offset seam

Stamp the offset seam: Design the Web: Creating a Repeating Background in Photoshop
Stamp the offset seam: Design the Web: Creating a Repeating Background in Photoshop

Let’s create a merged layer of all of the visible layers in our image. This will allow us to use the clone stamp tool in conjunction with the levels adjustments we’ve already made. Next, we’ll use the stamp tool to add in negative spaces along the seam of the white texture areas. We’ll also use the stamp tool to sample similar areas from other white areas of the texture. Using this technique, we’ll work our way down from the top, hiding the seam created by the offset filter.
