- A quick look at the layers palette shows that I did a lot of things to this image. I've got a black and white layer and seven different levels adjustment layers. I started, of course, with a black and white conversion and I just did the default conversion. I didn't do any toning in the black and white layer because there's not really any to do because of the tungsten light in here this whole area's kind of orange which makes all of the tones a little bit off. And there's so much color variety in here that adjusting the cyans here is probably gonna hit something over here. So, I just didn't even both toning that way. I threw my black and white adjustment layer onto the image and went on from there. The first thing I did was target this side, the side that needs to be darker, and I did that because that's the key to the whole concept of this image. And if it didn't work then there would really be no reason to go on. So, I wanted to be sure that it worked. I threw in this adjustment…
