Join Jan Kabili for an in-depth discussion in this video Snapseed: Nondestructive editing on your phone with Stacks, part of Photo Tools Weekly (2015).
- Hi, this is Jan Kabili with another episode…of Photo Tools Weekly.…Ya know, Snapseed has always been…one of my favorite mobile apps for editing photos…and now, Google has taken Snapseed up another notch…by adding a feature called Stacks…to the latest version of the app.…With Stacks, you can not only go back and re-edit…any tools or filters you apply to a photo in Snapseed,…you can also delete and insert edits…anywhere in the history stack.…I'll show ya how to do all that…in this episode of Photo Tools Weekly.…
So, what we're looking at now is…a photo I shot with my iPhone…that I've opened into Snapseed…and I'd like to apply some edits to this photo.…To do that, I'll tap the pencil icon at the bottom right…and from the list of tools, I'll choose Tune Image.…Here in Tune Image, I'll swipe up…and you can see the various controls available.…I'll start with Ambience.…I'll swipe to the right to increase the amount…of ambience in the photo, bringing out more of the detail.…I also want to open up the Shadows.…So, I'll swipe up and I'll go to Shadows…
