Shooting the last light of the day

- Sunset is fast approaching, which means we're on the butte for one last sunset shoot here. This is the best light, and we wanna be in the best place, so we raced up here, we've got some fantastic rolling hills, the light is beautiful, I'm working really fast here. So I wanna talk you through what's going on in my mind. We've got a fantastic line which separates fields into different colors, so I'm taking advantage of that as a leading line. We have a group of wind turbines. Now, you could view them as unattractive, but here I'm going to embrace 'em, I'm going to try and make them interesting. So I've got the wind turbines. Now, I also have the sky, so this is the first time that I've included the sky from the butte. The reason I have the sky is we need the turbines to have room to breathe, okay. We wanna make sure there's room up above so they're not confined within the frame. So I've got the scene polarized. Because I have a very long lens, I'm able to polarize it and darken the…
