- [Instructor] Before we begin our adventure…or our journey into working with Photoshop…we need to dial in a few important settings.…And because of the work that we'll…be doing in Photoshop is color critical…we need to take the time to select…the appropriate color space.…Now you may be wondering, well what…the heck is color space and how do we do this?…Well, let me show you.…In order to explain the topic I want…to jump to another slide, and in this slide…you can see that we have a visualization…of our different color spaces.…We have two options.…
There are two triangles.…One of them is this Adobe RGB (1998) triangle,…another one is sRGB.…One of these color spaces gives us…a wider range or a wider gamut of colors.…The other one is smaller.…And the problem with the default color space…in Photoshop is that it's a smaller sRGB color space.…So we want to change this from small to big…so that we can have a lot of colors…in our photographs and we can have a wider color range.…Now it's really easy to do this,…yet most people overlook this step.…
