Saving metadata

I'm still inside the Save for Web dialog box, still looking at a detail from that 1770x780 photo.tif found inside the 12_for_Web folder. Now you should know that the selected settings that is the selected preview is what gets saved when you click on a Save button. So if I want to save out a medium quality JPEG file in my case I would click the lower left preview and then click Save. If I wanted to save a high quality version of the image which is what I truly want then I'll click the upper-right preview and click on the Save button.

But first we need to discuss one last option and that's Metadata which by default is that the Copyright and Contact Info which is a great setting. So it goes out and saves that copyright information that you entered into the File Info dialog box as well as anything in that IPTC Contact Info panel. If you want to save less for some reason you can you could just save the Copyright up to you or you could get rid of everything, if you didn't want...
