Saving and loading your actions
- [Instructor] In this movie, I'll show you how to save and load actions in Photoshop, which allows you to save your actions with other folks. And so I'll go up to the Window menu and choose the Actions command in order to once again visit the Actions panel. Now, the great thing about creating and saving actions is that for one thing they're cross-platform compatible. So I can create actions here on the PC and save them with those of you who are working on the Mac. You can also share actions between different versions of Photoshop, so long as the commands and the settings still exist. So oftentimes actions are not only forward-compatible, but backward-compatible as well. But here's the danger item. Actions are preference settings. And so, if I were to crash right now, I would lose everything I've done over the course of this entire chapter.
