- In this movie I'll show you how to save off a web graphic…as a PNG image, that is a P-N-G file.…It's an open source standard, very popular on the web.…And it's great when you have high contrast colors…like we're seeing right now.…So I'm going to go ahead and press shift + tab…in order to hide those right side panels,…so we can take a look at this banner…for one of my weekly Deke's Techniques.…And these are the kind of banners…that I post to my own website.…Now if I were to go up to the File menu…and choose the Save As command…I would once again see that my ICC Profile…is set to Adobe RGB,…and so if I were to save this image…using this command for the web…here's what things would look like.…
I'll go ahead and turn this check box off,…so Photoshop doesn't know where this image came from.…I'll go ahead and switch Save as type to PNG…down here near the bottom of the list,…and notice that once again I'm seeing…that the As a copy check box is on,…so I'm saving a copy of this image…as apposed to the real thing.…And I'll go ahead and name this image Horrifying colors…
