Reviewing the final images from the Palouse region

- After three fantastic days in the frigid Palouse I've narrowed down the selection of 21 images from the shoot. From those 21, I feel like I have about eleven keepers. Not everything's gonna work. You know it's very important to try different things, shoot in different light, and be critical of your work. So, having eleven over three days, I'm ecstatic. You know, honestly, I'd be happy with three or four. You know to make one great image each day you're out in the field, would be a huge goal. So, eleven, really jazzed about that. Let's take a look at a couple that didn't quite work. This image, here, of the house that we did. The light was really harsh and I tried to bring out as much information in the shadow as I can. But it's just not quite working for me. So, I'd like to shoot this again in different light. We looked at this focal blend. Again, the harsh light really prevented that image from really grabbing me.
