I have prepared the image we used in chapter one to…represent some of the common issues…retouchers face in working overworked skin.…The problem here, is an image that's been…way over retouched and has lost shape and texture.…The skin looks muddy because there's no shape and texture to hold it together.…In a perfect world, every image has been set…up in stages to allow us the flexibility of just…taking texture from one of the layers below.…And then just tweaking the opacity and being done with it.…So let's just turn off this two retouched layer right here,…and let's bring some of this texture into it from below.…
So let's duplicate that, and put it right here on top.…And now, by just using the numbers on your keypad, just pressing…five, we could drop it down to 50% opacity, and just turn…it on and off.…And you see how that just already…starts restoring shape and texture into the image.…And you can also leave it at a 100%, hold…down Option and click on the Quick Mask button right here.…And then just lightly go in with the soft…
