Resetting a tool
- [Narrator] As I said before, Photoshop can be a bit like an elephant. It doesn't want to forget the last settings that you used to perform an operation. the way that you want it to. Let me show you a tip for addressing that problem. I have the Butterfly Effect image open on the butterfly. I'll just move this layer up to the top and now you can see that the text is kind of tucked behind that object. But to focus on the task at hand, and I'm going to click on the layer mask. Now, if you're following along, you may not experience what I'm about to show you because I've set this up in advance. But just kind of watch and I'll show you what you can do when this situation arises. So I'm going to grab my brush tool and what I want to do is clean up the mask here. So I set my foreground color to white and I have my brush tool selected. I'm going to come in here and I'm going to start cleaning up this area. And as I'm painting over this, I'm like why is this not working? Why is this not doing…
