- [Instructor] Continuing on from our last lesson,…I did make a few changes to the template.…I added a few adjustment layers,…they're black and white adjustment layers,…and they're clipped to an individual duplicate…of those smart objects that we created.…So, I have a black and white adjustment layer here…that's set to 50% so that we get kind of a vintage look…in the second duplicate of the smart object,…and then, above that, I've got another black and white…adjustment layer set to 100%, and above that,…another black and white adjustment layer…also set to 100% but I've used the adjustment layer…mask in order to hide the black and white adjustment layer,…revealing the color in the original photograph.…
So there are a number of reasons that you might…need to change the contents of a smart object.…Perhaps you're doing template work,…or maybe you just have a temporary image…like a for placement-only image until you get…a higher resolution or retouched version of the file,…or maybe you just change your mind.…But, in this case, we have this template,…
