Join Chris Orwig for an in-depth discussion in this video Removing skin blemishes with the Healing Brush tools, part of Photoshop CC 2015 for Photographers: The Basics.
- In the previous chapter, we were…introduced to some of our retouching tools.…In this chapter, we're gonna take…a look at how we can put those tools into practice,…when we're working on photographs of people.…Alright, well with this photograph,…what we're gonna do is retouch away…some small little skin variations,…we'll clean up the skin and some…other issues as well.…Let's zoom in on the picture,…press command + on a Mac,…or control + on Windows.…Then you can press the spacebar key,…to click and to pan around.…Now a lot of times, what we're trying…to do when we retouch is just,…retouch away anything that sort of catches our eye.…
And still photographs see things…that we don't normally see in real life,…like these little skin variations here.…So let's retouch those away,…to do so we'll click on the new layer icon.…I'm gonna go ahead and name this new layer…Details, because that's the kind of work…that we'll be doing here.…Then we will choose,…the Spot Healing Brush,…it's a great tool for working on details.…We want to increase the brush Size a touch there,…
