Rejecting files

- Now, in this case, to make it easier with the exercise files, we haven't included really any bad media. But sometimes as you're working with clips, you might realize that there's a shot you don't want. Maybe you have multiple takes of an actor's performance, or maybe you just overshot. It's pretty common, even for professionals, to capture more footage than they need. Better to have a little too much than not enough, after all. Well, Bridge makes it easy to get rid of a shot without actually deleting it from your hard drive. One of the things you can do is if you decide that you don't want to use a shot, you can go under Label and choose Reject. The shortcut is Option or Alt + Delete. And what this does is marks it as a reject. Now, what you have the ability is under the View menu, you can choose to not show rejected files. And so it'll disappear right from your timeline. This means that you can have more clips than you need and start to tell the story and just reject clips once you…
