More and more, people are wanting to share content from a mobile device out to social media or the web. These are demos of how an app works that people want to share with others. How do you create an app demo? In this video, author Richard Harrington demonstrates how to record a mobile device’s screen with software and with a camera.
- Recording directly…on the digital device is a great option.…It's cheap, it's affordable,…and it means that you can use it just about anywhere.…The challenge of course…is that running screen recording on your phone,…one, might not be built-in and two,…is pretty taxing on the system.…So if you are trying to illustrate performance,…make sure you have a beefy enough phone to handle it.…Now, let me first show you where this is on iOS.…I like to put it right onto my command center,…which is just a drag from the bottom.…
You'll notice here that…you can adjust the settings for what appears.…I've got it built right in.…But if you don't see it there,…all you need to do is go to your general settings,…and you are going to go to the control center there and tap.…This will open up what appears in your control center,…and you can choose customized controls.…Now, just select the options that you want enabled.…You'll notice that I've turned on screen recording.…
If it wasn't on, and I removed it, it would be down here.…Now if I tap on the plus, it's added up there to the top.…
