- Adobe Media Encoder is a video compression tool that's included with Adobe Creative Cloud. Let me show you how it works. One of the key advantages of Adobe Media Encoder is the ability to do several files at once. So if you have several files to recompress or multiple file types to make Adobe Media Encoder works quite well. Simply launch the application and then add your files into the queue. Once Adobe Media Encoder launches, simply click the plus button to add files. You can navigate to a rendered video such as that eagle movie we were just working with. And I'll open it up. You see that it comes in and when you click on preset, you can choose from several different options. For example, we can size this to YouTube at 720p. If I need additional formats, I can select the file and click to add an additional output module. This makes it very simple to generate multiple sizes. Now we have YouTube at 1080 as well.
