- In this movie, we're gonna rebuild…the missing detail at the bottom of the image…and we're gonna heal away…some remaining blemishes as well.…Now normally, when I'm trying to rebuild…blank background like this,…I turn to the spot healing brush…because, as you can see up here in the options bar,…it allows you to paint using Content Aware fill.…But you can't paint directly on a smart object,…so you gotta create a new layer…by pressing Ctrl + Shift N…or Cmd + Shift + N on a Mac.…And then I'll call this new layer "healing"…and press the Enter key,…or the Return key on the Mac.…
And I'll also turn on the Sample All Layers checkbox…so that I can draw information…from the smart object layer.…And now I'll increase the size of my brush…by pressing the ] key a few times.…And I'll just go ahead and paint like so…across the bottom of the image.…You wanna have a little bit of overlap…with the image itself,…but you need to watch out for that tail.…And then go ahead and release.…Now under most circumstances that would work,…but for some reason, with this image,…
