In the next few movies we will be working on this file "jenny_kim.tif".…In this initial movie we are simply going to clean up this file then in the next movie we will work on the color and tone,…and then finally we will get to some skin softening techniques.…Alright we will here goes the clean up.…let's open up this image, Double click the Zoom tool and take it to 100%.…Create a new layer Shift+Command+N on a Mac, Shift+Ctrl+N…and on a PC name the layer Basic retouch and select the spot healing brush.…What we are going to do with the spot healing brush is make a nice small brush and we are simply going to click, click, click,…click away and remove all of the small blemishes on this image.…
I'm trying to make my brush about the size of the blemishes.…it is a good idea, when youre using the spot healing brush tool to use a pretty small brush size,…it gives you the ability to disguise the healing otherwise you can create repeating patterns.…Even if you don't really notice them, your eye will think, there's something a little bit odd,…
