- [Voiceover] Here's our 3D object ready for printing.…I'm going to print this locally,…so let's go to 3D,…3D print settings,…and once again,…we can reduce this,…scale it down to the print volume…because we haven't specified a printer,…just an STL file,…that brings it down to 100 centimeters.…A meter or three feet is too long for this.…Let's take this down to about 12 centimeters.…And now, we can simply go through 3D print.…
It goes through the process of repairing the meshes,…making it watertight,…and there is our printable file.…And so the printing begins.…Here, we can see the base layer being printed.…This is the expanded version of the logo…and you can see how the printer fills this in…as a single solid layer.…Here it is, beginning on the logo proper.…It's drawn the outline of the logo,…and you can see it's inset from the edges,…it's starting to fill in the interior with a mesh.…
And here it is, putting the top layer up.…This is completing the logo by putting a…flat fine surface over the whole thing.…And here's the finished printed logo.…
