- [Instructor] So, chances are, unless you live right next to a fantastic dive spot, you're probably going to be packing your gear up and taking it to your dive destination. So, in this movie, we're going to look at getting your gear ready to go. So, let's take a look at our pre-trip checklist. So, this is a series of simple steps that you're going to want to do to insure that your gear is ready to go. The first thing we're going to want to do is to assemble the entire system to a fully functioning state and then take a test shot. So, we're going to get everything out. We're going to put everything together just like it would be if we were going diving. And we're going to take a test shot to make sure that everything works. After that, we're going to do exactly the opposite. We're going to take it all apart and we're going to pack it right there. So, what these two steps are going to do is they're going to insure, A, that we have all the gear we need and, B, that it all works. Now, you don't want to be doing this the day before you head out the door. You want to do this early enough so that you still have time to replace any missing or broken items. So, this is just a quick pre-trip checklist that you can use to insure that, when you arrive at your dive destination, your underwater photo gear is going to be complete and functional.
