- Now Instagram makes it a bit difficult to upload. In fact, they only have mobile apps for phones. It is possible to install that on a tablet if you'd like the extra real estate. But you're going to have to search for the iPhone version of the Instagram app. Let me show you how this works. Instagram prefers MPEG-4 video. It should auto-play and auto-loop. This video doesn't have to be traditional video shape. You can use vertical video. Make sure it's over four seconds long but under one minute. Let me show you how this works. Let's use Plotagraph for a moment and I'll go to the waterfall. I see here that it's only two seconds long. So I'll choose to make an additional export. In this case, I'm going to go with MPEG-4 video and I'm going to adjust the height to 800 pixels but set this to loop. Let's go with a 30 second loop and choose export.
