- When it comes time to deliver your dynamic content, you're going to have to make a choice between a few different file formats. We'll take a look at those in just a moment, but let's take a look at some specific delivery platforms. First up is Facebook, and Facebook can support the GIF format. This is the older format that uses index color, and only supports 256 colors total. But, the MPEG-4 video is going to be best. Another advantage of posting video is that you're allowed to add links to the post, and you can create a video that's about 20 seconds long, and ideally, have the loops pre-built in. Cinemagraph videos that are less than 30 seconds long will auto-loop and play in the feed when the person is scrolling. For Twitter, a GIF is also okay, but the MPEG-4 video is going to work quite well.
