- If you enjoy photography and are interested in learning how you can use Photoshop to correct and improve your photographs, well, you've come to the right place. Welcome. My name is Chris Orwig. I'm a photographer, author, and teacher. And, you know, I've been teaching Photoshop for over a decade and I constantly encounter students who are overwhelmed by the idea of learning Photoshop, because they don't know where to begin or what topic to focus in on. Well, that's where this series can help. Photoshop for Photographers, the series where we focus in on those topics which are most important to learn to improve your photographs in order to begin to achieve professional results.

In this installment of this series, we'll be focusing in on the fundamentals. Let me highlight a few of the topics that we'll cover in this course. We'll talk about how we can work with Adobe Bridge and how we can view and access our photographs using Bridge. We'll look at how we can work with Adobe Camera Raw, which is a powerful tool which allows us to quickly and easily edit and improve our photographs. We'll explore how we can work with Layers in Photoshop in order to make changes or improve our pictures. And we'll look at how we can work with selections, which give us the ability to modify a selected area of our picture.

We'll also cover some retouching essentials, as well. But we'll be covering all of these topics and more, so without further delay, let's begin.
