- [Julieanne Kost] Photoshop is the industry standard for image manipulation and creative visual expression. Whether you're looking to pursue a career in photography, or just enhance your image making skills, this course is for you. My name's Julieanne Kost, and I've been working on the Photoshop team at Adobe for over 25 years. Because Photoshop is such a complex program, I created this essential training course to cover the tools and techniques specifically with a photographer in mind. We'll start by taking an in-depth look at how to work with adjustment layers to enhance our photographs. We'll create split tone and cross process effects, add color washes, and hand-coloring to our images. We'll cover retouching essentials, discover how to combine multiple images together, and work with smart objects to enhance our productivity. We'll walk through essential filters, painting tools, type, shape and layer effects, even art boards and libraries. All while specifically targeting tasks and tools that photographers do and use most often. I'm excited to be your instructor, and I can't wait to share what I know about Photoshop. So let's get started.
