- A composite image is one that is made up from more than one photograph. By bringing different images together, you can tell new stories or portray scenes that could never be photographed with a single shot. Hi, I'm Sean Duggan and in this course we'll take a look at creating photographs with the aim of using them in composites in Photoshop. As we view different types of composites, and deconstruct how they were made, we'll discuss the roles that lighting, perspective, and lens focal length play in making photos that will work well when composited together.
We'll explore the compositing mindset and discuss ways to help you see the potential for a composite image, both when you're looking through the lens and browsing through your image archive. We'll venture out to shoot images on location as well as in a studio environment. Finally, we'll bring some of these shots into Photoshop and put it all together to create a finished composite. So let's get started.
