Performing curve corrections in Camera Raw

Alright, in the previous movie, we did a correction based upon white balance and temperature. Remember, we worked up here, and then we worked on brightness and contrast and adjusting our highlights and shadows down here. Great way to work. I'd like to show you a little bit different technique that'll give you a little bit more control, and it's a little bit more like Photoshop as well. What we're going to do instead of working in this area, is we're going to go to a very familiar tool called curve, the tone curve, terrific. Great starting to look, in fact looks like photoshop doesn't it, looks like a photoshop adjustment layer histogram. And notice that this gives us access to the red, green, and blue. By the way sometimes when you bring this up, this is grayed out. And if it is, just a little tip for you, you can come up here and go to camera raw, defaults, you can choose that. That should activate the RGB channel and give you access to the red, green, and blue individual channels…
