- [Narrator] In this movie I'll show you at least…one way to perfect a pixel based hair mask…that's working hand in hand with a vector mask…here inside photoshop.…And to make a long story short,…it's a lot of manual brush work.…And so I'm going to start by alt or option clicking…on the layer mask thumbnail…so I can view the mask independently…of the rest of the image.…And then I'll select the brush tool,…which you can get by pressing the B key.…And my brush is way too big here so I'll…reduce it's size by pressing…the left bracket key a few times.…And then I'll right click inside the image window…and crank the hardness value up because…we're going to start by brushing inside…the neck and shoulders…which are smooth elements.…
Alright now, I'll press the enter key…to accept that change,…I'll make sure my blend mode is set to normal,…that the opacity value is 100%,…and that the foreground color down here…at the bottom of the toolbox is white.…And then I'll reduce the size of my cursor a little bit more…and I'll click right there on the side of the neck…
