Patching in a gap in the dress

- In this movie we'll be continuing to do some detail work and what we're gonna do next is fill in this gap that we have here and we're gonna fill in this gap by making a selection of the dress, copying it and putting it above our layer, at the top of the layer stack and then masking it in. Let me show you how we'll do this. Well go ahead and navigate down to the Clean Up layer. We need to go here because if we turn off these layers you'll notice that this layer doesn't have any of that dress in this area. So, again, we'll target the Clean Up layer and we'll use a tool like the Lasso Tool. With the Lasso Tool what I want you to do is to make a rough selection of this good portion of the dress, go ahead and go all the way down. You can make it bigger than you need. If you realize that it isn't quite big enough, hold down the Shift key and just click and drag and you can extend that out in this way. Next we're gonna copy this selection to a new layer.
