Painting the sunlight, part 1: Head

- [Instructor] We have an ambient light source in our scene now but we want more. We want more light in our scene, and in order to create that I have already added a new layer to the light folder, and what I want to create now is the main light source of the scene, the sunlight. And I'm going to name this layer Sunlight right away, and I will fill it with solid white, and I will also toggle on the drawing again. Now, to help us, with the creation of the sunlight layer, I will create another new layer, and I will use the marquee selection tool to create a circular selection and I fill that with black. In order to be able to paint inside this circular shape, now I will preserve the layer transparency. Now I cannot paint over the circular shape here. This is very helpful for what I'm going to do now. I'm using the soft brush and white color to shade this circular shape as if it was a sphere. A sphere illuminated by the sun, that I'd like to introduce to our scene. So with a big soft…
