Painting skin tones with low opacity
- [Instructor] Let's add a little color to our model's cheeks by giving her some blush. We'll zoom in. Tap the icon to make a new layer. And let's switch to the blush tool. We want a much bigger brush size. And we want to lower the opacity of the brush so we can build it up in small stages. We'll use the touch shortcut. Swiping to the side to sample a color out of her lips. And now let's paint this on... On both cheeks. And so far we've simply painted blobs of paint on to her cheeks. And it doesn't look at all convincing. Let's move her over to the side and open our Properties panel. If we change the blend mode from Normal to Multiply... Then our brush will darken up where we paint. We can also lower the opacity... So the effect isn't so strong. And with the opacity, little bit over 50 percent, we get the effect of the blush without it overwhelming the image. Let's reduce the strength of this brush…
