Now we're going to take a look at the possibility of having a website convert your PNG-24 and 32 files down to a PNG-8 with varying transparency. Now there's a few websites that you'll find that will do something similar to this. I'm going to be using 8bitAlpha.com to do this. And now, on this particular website, which looks just like a 1980s Nintendo game, down here we can come and click on the question mark. This will give you some information about why the developer created this site. And interestingly enough, there's an article here which will talk all about the PNG format, all the transparency and color settings, and give you more information than you'll probably ever want to know about PNG files. But it's a very interesting article to read, because it talks about all the different formats and transparency and color space settings that we have available to us in the PNG file format.
