- Now, if you're putting your mix overall together and you realize there's something you don't want, you may to choose to mute the clip. You've seen this earlier when we took a look at the dragon boats. But this gives you the ability to disable the clip and make sure that its sound doesn't play. Doing so is pretty easy. In our timeline, if there's a shot that you don't want to hear, simply click on the button here to bring up the playback controls. And from the audio tab, check the mute audio button. You'll notice in this case that several shots have already been muted. That's because we didn't need to hear this sound from the background. If I uncheck these and just play them, you may hear some extraneous sound that's not desired. - [Announcer] I, the land that has existed for thousands. - [Instructor] Yup, just a little bit of the background there and I'm just going to mute that since it's not needed. Now, what's important here to realize is there is no global control for muting. So,…
