Now to create a dissolve between these two clips, let's grab the playhead. Let's bring…it up between the two.…I'm going to come down here and scale this up a little bit, so I can start to see some of the frames.…I want to overlap this approximately 10 frames so this ends at the 20 frame mark, and the…10 frame mark is somewhere around here. So let's grab this clip. Let's drag it back so…that they overlap each other.…Now with this clip selected on the top let's come over here to the Transitions. Let's grab…the transition and just drag and drop it right on top of the clip.…
Now we'll see this ramp here showing us the duration of this clip. Let's come out here…to the end. We'll get this little edit symbol here. Let's click and drag.…Let's drag this back so that the transition of the fade in happens before the end of the bottom clip.…Now if I click and drag this we'll see a nice transition while we can still see the video…in the background, and then once we get to this 20 frame mark we'll have the top clip…
