Discover how more artificial intelligence is appearing in InDesign to make creating text wraps with images faster and easier.
- [Instructor] Hi, and welcome to Design Tools Weekly … with me, Tony Harmer. … This week, what we're going to take a look at … is another AI-powered feature inside of InDesign, … but before we take a look at it, … we're going to look at how things used to be … before this problem. … And it has something to do with text wraps. … So if I wanted to wrap text around this Labrador picture … in the bottom right of this layout, … what I'd need to do previously is either draw my own path … inside of InDesign and then go ahead … and place the wrap on that, … because we have to remember that text wraps … apply to an object that makes the text move away from it, … not the other way around or alter the actual frame … that has the text in it, which isn't a great idea, … or dive into Photoshop and make a change there. … So for example, I could jump into Photoshop just here. … And what I could then do is use Select Subject … to get Photoshop to look at the subject of this image. … And it's done a pretty good job of doing that. …
