Modifying and playing a specific step
- [Instructor] In this movie, I'll show you how to modify the settings associated with a specific step and how to play back that step to make sure that it works. For my part, I'm looking at my sharpened image and thinking it doesn't look all that much different from the original, and to demonstrate what I mean, I'll go up to the file menu and choose the Revert command and we'll see that the original image doesn't look that less soft. If we're not seeing much of a difference on screen, we're going to see even less of a difference in print. I'm thinking that I'd like to crank up the amount and radius values, and to make that happen, just go ahead and double click on this smart sharpen item in order to not only bring up the smart sharpen dialogue box but to turn on the record function as well. Notice that the red record button is on down here at the bottom of the actions panel. I'm going to go ahead and crank the amount value up to 300 and then I'll take the radius value up to five…
