- In this movie, I'll show you how to combine…our two octopus photographs into a single image…perfectly suited for posting to Facebook…or some other social media site.…You'll notice that this final image is a square…so both of our photographs are the same height…as well as the same width, and squares are great.…The reason that they work so well is…because Facebook and the others have the same…maximum width as their maximum heights.…And so if you create a horizontal photograph…or a vertical photograph,…you're not taking advantage of all the real estate…that's permitted to you.…
So the first thing we're gonna do here…is close this version of the image…just to get it out of the way,…and I'm gonna create a new image…by going up to the File format…and choosing the New command,…or you can press Control-N, or Command-N on the Mac.…And I'm just gonna dial in some placeholder values.…Now you don't have to worry about exactly…what the maximums are at Facebook…and the other sites.…If you create something larger,…it's gonna get shrunk down.…
