Masking the video in Cliplets
- [Instructor] Cliplets is like other Cinemagraph applications. Now that was have a frozen frame, we need to add the video and start to reveal. I'll click to add a new layer. And there are different methods here. For example, loop is going to just keep repeating the video. Let's simply choose play here. And there's a loop happening below the background frame. Now, we need to reveal this. I'll take the paintbrush tool here and start to paint. You see the motion comes through. Let's reveal more. And very quickly paint that in. There we go. Now the area that's been masked will show through. Let's click play. Now you notice with the reveal, that the video is playing. That works quite well. However, we can adjust what happens inside here. By dragging these handles, I can affect the duration of the loop. Let's click play. You see that we slowed the video down. Let's pull that back. And now it's moving at a more normal speed.
