- Now before I go into kind of the technicals of what I'm doing here, I want to talk about where to go exactly. How do I line up a shot of the waves with a horizontal ICM? Now the first place I walked up to was gorgeous and I was able to see the waves coming in and crashing into rocks. But I wasn't capturing the break and it's the break that I'm after. Now I want to tell you about an example on the course we did on the coast of New Zealand, the sun was setting and I was able to do an ICM of the pink sunset colors in the wave. That's my favorite ICM shot I've ever taken so I encourage you to check out that course and I talk about how I did it. But here I'm presented with something a little bit different. It is not sunset, it's the middle of the day, so I'm not getting any golden or pink light. But what's interesting to me is we have some interaction with people playing in the waves and I think that in ICM with the added drama of the subject of somebody diving into a wave or even…
