Join Jan Kabili for an in-depth discussion in this video Making animated GIFs for Facebook in Google Photos, part of Photo Tools Weekly (2015).
- Hi, this is Jan Kabili…with another episode of Photo Tools Weekly.…Animated GIFs are popular again,…so I want to show you a quick way…that you can make an animated GIF in Google Photos…and then post it to Facebook.…To make an animated GIF in Google Photos,…you need to be on your iPhone or another mobile device.…I'll go into my Google Photos app,…and then I'll tap the menu icon at the top left…and I'll choose Collections.…On the Collections screen, I'll tap the plus symbol…at the top right.…Here, I see a list of all the creations…that I can make in Google Photos.…
I'll tap Animation…and then I'll select the photos that I want to use…to make an animated GIF.…This is a great way to make a personalized animated GIF,…because it's coming straight from your photos.…Sometimes, you don't even have to make your own…animated GIF in Google Photos.…It will make it for you.…If it finds five or more photos that it thinks…were shot in a sequence…and that would make a good animated GIF,…you'll see a message in Google Photos telling you…
