Explore the options for pattern generation in Adobe Capture—the asset generator for your phone and tablet—and find out how easy it is to generate fantastic patterns to use in your projects.
- [Tony] Hi, and welcome to Design Tools Weekly … with me, Tony Harmer. … This week, we're going to take a look … at creating patterns for Photoshop using Capture. … Now, if you don't know, the patterns for Photoshop … were updated in 2020, and now they've gone back … to being cool, whereas before, the old legacy patterns … were starting to creek a bit with age. … And also, now you have the ability … to rotate your patterns as well … as scale them when you choose them … as a fill. … So how do you get in on that action … and make your own patterns? … Well there is actually a way to create assets in Photoshop, … but what we are going to do is jump across … and use the iPad. … We'll use Capture just here, … your phone would work just as well for this. … There's only one subtle difference with patterns … in that this has something called the Pattern Builder … on it which your phone doesn't, … but we won't be using that just for the moment anyway. … We're going to make just a regular pattern. …
