Loading a selection from a different image
- [Instructor] All right, now I want to add this Kirby Krackle over here, if you know what that is, these energy bubbles on the right-hand side of the image. The problem is, my current composition lacks these bubbles entirely. So, they don't appear as a layer, and they don't appear as a channel either. Rather, I went ahead and created these guys inside yet another independent image file. And so, if I switch back to the layers panel, you can see I have the original image with this kerplow layer on top of it. And so what I want to do is bring over this layer as a selection outline. I don't want it to be filled with this shade of yellow here so that I can fill it with something else. And there's a couple of different ways to move channels or selection outlines in between images. And so, I'll just go ahead and zoom out here a little bit, and I'm gonna load the transparency mask for this layer by pressing the Control key or the Command key on a Mac and clicking inside of its thumbnail here…
