Loading an image sequence into Photoshop
- Besides working with a video file, photoshop also has the ability to load a series of images as a sequence. This is often the case with stop motion animation or time lapse. Or if you're dealing with hand drawn material. In my case, I'm going to load a time lapse sequence. To start, I'll choose file open. And navigate to one of the first images. These are developed raw files that have already been processed. I'll select the first image and click open. This will bring it into the project. These images have already been downsized to a smaller file size. Now, I'll click the button to create a video time line. And you see that there's a single still image. Now, chooses layer, video layers, new video layer from file. You can now point it at the first image and click open. And what it will do is assemble those into a movie. If we adjust the handles here you'll see that we have a two second clip. Let's delete layer zero and just press play. And you see we have our time lapse sequence. This…
