Loading an image sequence into After Effects
- Loading an image sequence is very easy and very similar to other applications. Let's bring in an image sequence. I'll double click on the project area. Let's go to the exercise files folder. Make sure you choose the first image and that you've selected the image sequence option. You may also want to force the alphabetical order so that any gaps are ignored. When you click import, it'll pull it in, and bring it into a movie. If I load that up and press play, you'll see that it plays back. Now, if you'd like to control the speed of that playback, feel free to right click on the file and choose Interpret Footage, Main. Here you can decide the frame rate. For example, 12 frames per second. When I click ok and play this back, you'll see that the motion has been slowed down and you can get familiar with the content. Alright, now that we got some content in, let's put it into a folder for organization. I'll drop that in the new folder there and we'll call this Footage. Now, let's save…
