- [Instructor] With our base scene opened up once again, let's try something a little more unusual this time around as we look to make use of the V-Ray mesh light for this particular challenge. Of course, in order to use the mesh mode on the V-Ray light, we'll need to add one to the scene. And so as a first move, let's grab the dome option from the V-Ray toolbar as this is probably the quickest and easiest V-Ray light type to set up in Max's all it requires is a single click in the top viewport. After which we can jump over to the command panel and straight away switched to using the mesh mode. Now, this point, the big question is which mesh or meshes in the scene do we want to use as a light source. Which ideally would be something that we have thought about and created well in advance of setting down to do the lighting.
